Welcome to My Personal
Hell

There's
not really too much to tell about me. Obviously, I am into macabre...
all that which is dark, evil, and gruesome within the human soul.
When I was a small child (about 7 or 8), I watched the Exorcist
when I wasn't supposed to and it scared me a great deal. I was plagued
with nightmares for many years. When I hit my teens, I decided that
I was going to conquer my fears and I began watching horror movies
and reading horror books. It didn't take me long to become addicted
to the adrenaline rush of being afraid. I still have nightmares,
but now I enjoy most of them.. and horror movies, I watch just about
every horror movie that comes out. Nothing seems to scare me anymore.
The Exorcist still gives me the creeps though and a good Clive Barker
or Stephen King book can still give me the chills.
I
am a published poet. You can check out some of my poems if you wish
and I always enjoy hearing what you think of them, so make sure
you e-mail me with comments. I am currently working on a novel.
I am hoping to have it finished soon and will probably put up an
info page about it when it is FINALLY completed. Until then, you
can check out some of my short stories if you like.
I
used to spend a lot of my spare time gaming, but I haven't had much
time to game in quite awhile. When I do game Champions is what I
am partial to. I have tried other systems in the past, but I wasn't
as impressed with them as I was the Hero System. You can game any
genre... it's just up to your own imagination. Take a look at their
web site by clicking on the Champions book if you like to play role-playing
games. I'm hoping to add some Champions resources here in the future,
but I have other things I would like to do first.
I have a BEAUTIFUL daughter that means the world to me. She's
the smartest, sweetest, most wonderful... I'm not biased am I? :)
You can visit her room by clicking on Sara's
Room in the navigation.
And yes... there is someone else that is very special to me. He's
the love of my life and I am the luckiest person in the world to
have found him. We were married on October 31, 1998... yes, that's
Halloween. Funny thing was, the judge that married us had 4 other
weddings to preform that day, so we aren't the only weird people
on the planet. Here's a picture of the cake table at the wedding.
Really, the cake isn't leaning, the picture is just taken from a
weird angle. :)

We dressed as gothic vampires and by the time it was all over with,
our families were saying that it was the most relaxed wedding they
had ever been to. It was more like a party than a wedding. Everyone
seemed to have fun, even those that were so opposed to us getting
married on Halloween. After the wedding, we had a blast going trick-or-treating.
Sound like a weird way to spend your honeymoon? It was actually
a lot of fun... and we still had a honeymoon later that night. :)
I
used to run a bulletin board called Kryson's Macabre, but I had
to take it down for lack of funds and I miss it a lot. For all of
the old users of Kryson's Macabre that stumble in here; I wish I
could have kept the board online. I didn't want Macabre to be one
of those up again down again BBS's and I had high hopes for the
board. Since the internet is so popular now, and the only boards
that really make it are those that have internet capabilities, Kryson's
Macabre will not be going back online. May she RIP.
